Michael Ignatieff is a writer, historian, and politician. His many books include Scar Tissue, Blood and Belonging, and The Russian Album. Until 2000, he was a professor at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and since May 2009 he has been the official leader of the Liberal Party of Canada.
