Garry Wills, who has served on the faculties of Johns Hopkins, Yale, and Princeton, is now adjunct professor of history at Northwestern University. A two-time winner of the National Book Critics Cirlce Award and the recipient of the 1992 Pulitzer Prize for his Lincoln at Gettysburg, he is a member of both the American Academy of Arts and Letters and The American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He lives in Evanston, Illinois.
