Karin Evans, a founding editor of Rocky Mountain Magazine, spent two years working at Newsweek's Hong Kong bureau. She has worked as an editor at Outside magazine and as a senior editor for the San Francisco Examiner's Sunday magazine. She lives in Berkeley, California.
