A dedicated and passionate human rights advocate, Kerry Pither has worked on a wide range of national and international issues. She played a pivotal role in the campaign for Canadian Maher Arar’s release from Syrian detention, and in the campaign for the public inquiry into his case. She continues to press for answers about the torture of the three other Canadians she writes about in Dark Days. She lives in Ottawa.
