- No purchase necessary.
- The retail value of the contest prize is as stated on the contest ballot or entry form.
- This competition is open to all residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec and employees of Penguin Books and their families, or anyone connected with this contest.
- Contestants must have reached the age of majority in the province in which they reside.
- Prizes are as offered, and no cash alternative will be offered.
- All entries must be submitted by the contest closing date stated on the contest ballot or entry form.
- No responsibility will be accepted for damaged or illegible entries, or entries which fail to arrive by the closing date.
- Only one entry per household. For weekly giveaways, only one entry per household per week.
- Chances of winning depend on number of eligible entries.
- All winners will be required to sign a declaration and release acknowledging compliance with the contest rules, acceptance of the prizes awarded, and releasing Penguin Books Canada Ltd. and their respective affiliates and employees from all liabilities in connection with the awarding and use of the prizes.
- Winners agree to let Penguin Books Canada use their name and likeness for photographs, film and print pieces tied to contest publicity and promotion without any additional consideration.
- Winners will be selected either by Penguin Books Canada Ltd. or by an outside party.
- Winners will be contacted at the email and phone number recorded on their entry forms. Winners must respond within 10 business days or prizes will be forfeited. When winners are asked to select their prize, they must do so within six months from the date of the contest close.
- It is a condition of entry that all entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
